Our best-selling traditional design, woven on vertical looms in Bhadohi by weavers who have worked the Kashan layout for three generations. The ivory field is framed by a rust guard border and quartered spandrels, with the central medallion picked out in charcoal and copper. Hand-spun Ghazni wool takes natural dye unevenly by design, giving the field a gentle abrash that flat machine-made copies cannot reproduce. Supplied with a cotton foundation and hand-knotted fringe.
Woven in Bhadohi, India. Colour and size may vary slightly between pieces — a characteristic of hand-made work, not a defect.
